Mail to some countries impossible

The Acting Assistant Postmaster General (Postal), Mrs Joanna CHOI, announced today (September 14) that because of the US incident, some countries have closed their airports making it not possible for Hong Kong to forward its mail to these destinations.
With the gradual opening of these airports and the resumption of the airlines operation, Hongkong Post is beginning to forward its mail to these destinations, making use of the flights available for mail carriage. The affected destinations include:

USA Canada Bahamas Cayman Islands
Costa Rica Ecuador Guyana Mexico
Panama Israel Netherlands Antilles

Hongkong Post regrets the delay caused to the delivery of the mail items affected in this incident, and would endeavor to resume normal service to these destinations as soon as practicable.
