No mail delivery on Buddha's Birthday

The Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen, announced today (May 13) that there would be no mail delivery during the forthcoming public holiday on May 20, 2002 (The Buddha's Birthday).

All post offices would also be closed. However, one mail collection would be arranged for all posting boxes except those which are located on outlying islands and in remote areas.
