Overseas philatelic products to be put on sale on June 9

The Postmaster General, Mr LUK Ping-chuen, announced today (June 3) that philatelic products issued by the postal administrations of Australia, Great Britain, Macau, Mainland China and New Zealand will be put on sale at our 38 philatelic offices starting from June 9 (Sunday), the first day of issue for the Beijing - Kowloon Through Trains Special Stamps. The opening hours of the 38 philatelic offices on June 9 will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Details of the philatelic products, their selling prices and sales quota for each queuing customer are listed below:

Hongkong Post hosted an issuing ceremony of the "Beijing - Kowloon Through Trains" special stamps at the General Post Office on 9 June 2002. Mr. P. C. LUK (right), the Postmaster General and Mr. Ronnie YUEN (left), Chairman of Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, officiated the issue by stamping a blow-up first day cover.
