"The 5th Anniversary of The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" Commemorative Stamps Issuing Ceremony
Hongkong Post issued today (1 July 2002) "The 5th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" commemorative stamps. This morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Allan CHIANG, Acting Postmaster General was joined by Mr. Patrick HO, Secretary for Home Affairs, to officiate the ceremony of issuing the commemorative stamps by stamping a blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Mr. HO and Mr. Benny LAU, stamp designer of these commemorative stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
