SMO Map Products Available at Post Offices

The Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen, announced today (July 8) that two products have been added to the existing Postshop souvenirs series. They are the Children Stamp T-shirts and Denmark Posting Box.

"Four types of child-sized T-shirt will be available, each featuring one denomination of the "Children Stamps" issued on 18 November 2001. Each T-shirt is sold with a free set of four non-toxic colourful markers. Children can make use of the markers to paint on the blank areas of the stamp printed on the T-shirts," said Mr. Luk. The T-shirts can now be purchased at any one of the 47 Postshop outlets at $78 each. "This is an ideal gift to stimulate the children's creativity during the summer holidays," Mr. Luk added.

A new Denmark Posting Box is added to the current World Posting Boxes collection sold at selected post offices. Priced at $70 each, the Posting Box can be used as a coinbank and is a must for postal product collectors. The World Posting Boxes Collection is currently on sale at the General Post Office, Sheung Wan, Tsuen Wan and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Offices.

Customers can also purchase the new Postshop souvenirs through the mail order service available at all post offices and the Hongkong Post website at http://www.hongkongpost.com.
