North Point Post Office takes on a new look
A new North Point Post Office opens today (September 2) to replace the existing post office which was opened in 1957.
The Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen said, "the new North Point Post Office has a new layout and design which accentuate Hongkong Post's progressive corporate image. The purpose-built service counters will provide more convenient and efficient services to customers. Apart from the traditional postal services, this post office will also provide our very popular PayThruPost service.
Located at the heart of the North Point area (Shops L8, L15-16, LG/F, FitFort, 560 King's Road), this post office will provide 100 additional post office boxes on top of the existing 500. The post office boxes have adopted an improved design that the last row of boxes are raised at waist level. Customers will find it more comfortable in collecting their mail." added Mr Luk. Customers who are interested in renting the Post Office Boxes may call P O Boxes Section at 2921 2255.
The new office operates from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
