A Society for All Souvenir Cover Issuing Ceremony cum Award Presentation
Hongkong Post issued today (October 3) the Asian & Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (1993-2002) "A Society for All" Souvenir Cover. Design of the cover depicts the champion design of the Asian & Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (1993-2002) "A Society for All" Souvenir Cover Design Competition which was jointly organized by the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau, the Sub-committee on Public Education on Rehabilitation of the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee and Hongkong Post.
Honorary Councillor, Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled, Professor the Honorary Sir Harry Fang; Chairman, Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, Dr Raymond Wu; Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Mrs Carrie Yau; and the Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen, participated in an issuing ceremony this morning at the General Post Office.
Professor Fang, Mrs Yau, Dr Wu and Mr Luk also presented awards to the winners of the souvenir cover design competition. Following are the award winners:

Hongkong Post hosted today (3 October 2002) the Asian & Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (1993-2002) "A Society for All" Souvenir Cover Issuing Ceremony at the Postal Gallery of the General Post Office. Dr. Raymond WU (left), Chairman, Rehabilitation Advisory Committee and Professor Sir Harry FANG (right), Honorary Councillor, Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Disabled, officiated at the ceremony by unveiling the souvenir cover.
Hongkong Post hosted today (3 October 2002) the Asian & Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons (1993-2002) "A Society for All" Souvenir Cover Issuing Ceremony at the Postal Gallery of the General Post Office. Mr. P. C. LUK (left), the Postmaster General and Mrs. Carrie YAU (right), Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, officiated the ceremony by stamping a blow-up souvenir cover.
