Hongkong Post Introduces New Collectible
The Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen, announced today (October 13) that a new Postshop collectible, "Crystal Vintage Mobile Post Office", which hitherto is for sale only to Local Standing Order Services customers, is now put on sale at 47 Postshop outlets.
"The Crystal Vintage Mobile Post Office is replicated from one of the earliest mobile post offices of Hong Kong in finest details. Delicately crafted from quality Austrian crystal, each dainty miniature shines with superb beauty. Obviously this collectible has a high commemorative value," Mr Luk said.
Issued in a limited edition of 3000 pieces, each collectible is provided with a certificate and an individual serial number on its crystal base. The price is $388 each.
Customers can also purchase the new Postshop collectible through the mail order service available at all post offices and the Hongkong Post website at http://www.hongkongpost.com.
