"Pet Fish" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony Cum Children Stamps Design Competition 2003 Award Presentation
Hongkong Post issued today (7 August 2003) the "Pet Fish" Special Stamps. A ceremony was held at the General Post Office to commemorate this special event. On the same occasion, winners of the Children Stamps Design Competition 2003 were also invited to attend to receive prizes. Judges of the Competition, Mr. KAN Tai-keung, Mr. CHEUNG Kam-chee and Dr. Andrew CHEUNG presented awards to the 16 merit winners while Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General and Miss Kelly CHEN, Hongkong Post's Philatelic Ambassador presented awards to the 4 grand prize winners. The winner list is attached at Appendix.
After the award presentation, the 4 grand prize winners were invited to affix 4 pieces of "Fish" images on the blow-up stamps to complete the stamp design of the "Pet Fish" Special Stamps. Mr. CHIANG and Kelly then marked the issue of the special stamps by stamping the blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented souvenirs to all guests including Mr. Jason CHUM, the designer of the special stamps.

Hongkong Post hosted the "Pet Fish" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony Cum Children Stamps Design Competition 2003 Award Presentation at the General Post Office on 7 August 2003.
