Strike delays mail to UK

The Assistant Postmaster General (Postal), Mr. CHAN Yau-fung, announced today that as advised by the postal administration of Great Britain, due to an unofficial strike by some Royal Mail employees, ordinary and registered letter items to the United Kingdom will be subject to delay. However, normal Speedpost and parcel services to the United Kingdom are maintained.

For mailing urgent items to the United Kingdom, customers are advised to use the Speedpost service.

A further announcement will be made when the situation resumes normal.
