"Chinese Percussion Instruments" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony

Hongkong Post issued today (6 November 2003) the "Chinese Percussion Instruments" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Kingsley LI, Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development) and Mr. Henry LAI, Council Member of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, marked the issue of the special stamps by stamping a blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. LI presented to Mr. LAI and Mr. Benny LAU, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
