New Post Office at Queen's Road Central

A new Queen's Road Post Office opens today (19 January 2004) to replace the existing post office at Wah Ying Cheong Central Building, 160-164 Queen's Road Central. Located at Shop Nos. 2A and 2B, Entrance Hall Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, the new Queen's Road Post Office operates from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

"The old Queen's Road Post Office had faithfully served this part of our central business district for over 27 years," said Mr. Allan CHIANG, the Postmaster General. "In an effort to modernize and upgrade our facilities for the benefit of our customers, we took the initiative to reprovision the office to new accommodation. The new office is situated at a first class commercial building just opposite to the old one. It also takes on a new design providing added comfort to customers," added Mr. CHIANG.

The Queen's Road Post Office was opened on 19 January 2004. In line with Hongkong Post's corporate identity which is modern, innovative and service-oriented, a new design is adopted. The enclosed photo shows the outlook of the Queen's Road Post Office.
