HONG KONG 2004 Stamp Expo - Opening Ceremony
The Postmaster General, Mr. Allan CHIANG, announced today (30 January 2004) that HONG KONG 2004 Stamp Expo, also known as the 17th Asian International Stamp Exhibition, with the theme on Tourism, was officially opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Financial Secretary, Mr. Henry TANG, was invited as the Guest of Honour and joined by Mrs. Selina CHOW, Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, to officiate the Opening Ceremony this morning, and during which a framed Flip-flop Stamp Sheetlet was presented to Mr. TANG and Mrs. CHOW by the Postmaster General as a memento of the occasion.

Hongkong Post hosted the Opening Ceremony of the HONG KONG 2004 Stamp Expo today (30 January 2004) at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General (second from left) officiated at the ceremony together with Mr. Henry TANG, the Financial Secretary (middle), Mrs. Selina CHOW, Chairman, Hong Kong Tourism Board (first from right), Mr. Surajit GONGVATANA, President, Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (second from right) and Mr. William KWAN, President, Hong Kong Philatelic Society (first from left).
