"Centenary of Hong Kong Trams" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony

Hongkong Post issued today (27 May 2004) the "Centenary of Hong Kong Trams" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Allan CHIANG, the Postmaster General, and Mr. Frankie YICK, Director and General Manager of Hongkong Tramways Limited, marked the issue of the special stamps by stamping a blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Mr. YICK and Mr. Redge Solley, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
