Hongkong Post Introduces New Pure Gold and Silver PostShop Collectibles

The Postmaster General, Mr. Allan CHIANG, announced today (1 September 2004) that a new series of pure gold and silver PostShop collectibles will be put on sale at the PostShop at General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office and Tsuen Wan Post Office as from 2 September 2004.

This is the first time that PostShop collectibles are produced in pure gold and silver. This new series of PostShop collectibles, produced in collaboration with Chow Sang Sang Jewellery Co. Ltd, comprises three new products, including:-

"Hong Kong Pillar Posting Box" 999.9 Pure Gold Scenic Décor
The miniature posting box is made in 999.9 pure gold with frosted and shiny effects to highlight the details. Each piece is displayed in a deluxe globe with beautiful settings. With a limited worldwide edition of 800 pieces only, each posting box is serially numbered and issued with a certificate. The selling price is $1,530 each.

"Hong Kong Posting Box" Pure 999.9 Gold and 925 Silver Pendants
The Pure gold pendant is made in 999.9 pure gold and the silver pendant in 925 silver, which feature a Hong Kong pillar posting box design. The pendant can also be turned into a trendy telephone string with the free stylish leather strap provided in the set. The selling prices of the pure gold and silver pendants are $480 and $128 respectively.
