New post office will meet growing needs in Tseung Kwan O
Hongkong Post announced the opening of the new Choi Ming Post Office, bringing the total number of branch post offices in Hong Kong to 133.
Choi Ming Post Office is located in Shop No. 240, G/F., Choi Ming Shopping Centre Extension, Choi Ming Court, Tseung Kwan O. The new post office is equipped with three counter units and provides a full range of postal services for residents in the Tiu Keng Ling area of Tseung Kwan O, including those in Choi Ming Court, Ocean Shores and Kin Ming Estate.
"We are always mindful of the postal needs of the community," said Mr. Allan CHIANG, the Postmaster General. "The provision of a comprehensive postal retail network is in keeping with our corporate purpose - Linking People, Delivering Business. Apart from providing traditional postal services covering counter transactions of stamp purchase, remittance posting and collection of mail items, the post office provides also ancillary value-added services such as PayThruPost: a one-stop-shop service for payment of Government and utility bills."
The Choi Ming Post Office was opened on 6 December 2004. In line with Hongkong Post's corporate identity which is modern, innovative and service-oriented, a new design is adopted. The enclosed photo shows the outlook of the Choi Ming Post Office.
