Overseas philatelic products (with photo)
The Postmaster General, Mr. Allan CHIANG, announced today that a special stamp issue, "Charming Chinese Lanterns - Joint issue of Hong Kong, China and Macao" will be released on Sunday, 12 February 2006. On the same day, philatelic products issued by the postal administrations of Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Mainland China, Singapore, New Zealand and Macao will be put on sale at all philatelic offices (except the Peak Post Office during its reprovisioning period). The General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office and Airport Post Office will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as on normal Sundays. All other post offices (except mobile post offices) will open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on that day. Customers may also purchase these overseas philatelic products at Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall - "ShopThruPost" (http://www.shopthrupost.hk)

The enclosed photograph illustrates the overseas philatelic products to be put on sale as from 12 February 2006. It includes "2006 Bing-xu Year" Presentation Pack (picture 1) issued by China Post. "Down on the Farm" Stamp Set of 6(picture 2) issued by Australia Post, "Animal Tales" Stamp Set of 8 (picture 3) issued by Royal Mail.
