New Series of Occasional Gift Sets for Hong Kong/ Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service
The Postmaster General, Mr. TAM Wing-pong, announced today that in collaboration with China Post, a new series of occasional gift sets will be available through the Hong Kong/ Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service.
Hongkong Post and China Post teamed up in January 2004 to create the Hong Kong/ Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service, which provides a convenient way of sending a range of gift sets to the Mainland, including seasonal gifts, bouquets, flower baskets and cakes.
To cater to customer demand for sending gifts or regards to friends, relatives and business partners on the Mainland for different occasions all year round, more than 20 new gift sets are now available for selection. The new gift sets comprise flower bouquets, flower baskets and cakes, priced from $288 to $1,261, including delivery charges to over 2,000 cities in the Mainland.
Mr. Tam said, "The new occasional gift sets are specially designed to cater year-round for the needs of customers in Hong Kong who wish to send gifts and regards to relatives, friends or business partners in the Mainland on special occasions such as Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, anniversaries, birthdays, new office openings, housewarming, new babies and sympathy."
"The relationship between Hong Kong and the Mainland is becoming closer and closer," added Mr. Tam. "With the Hong Kong/ Mainland Gift Fulfillment Service, the connections between Hong Kong and the Mainland are closer still."
Product catalogues and order forms can be picked up at any post office. Completed order forms can be returned in person at any post office, or by fax or post. Customers can also place orders via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall - "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk).
