"Hong Kong, China - Austria Joint Issue on Fireworks" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony

Hongkong Post issued today (22 August 2006) the"Hong Kong, China - Austria Joint Issue on Fireworks" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. TAM Wing-pong, Postmaster General, Dr. Erich HAAS, Director of Philatelic Department, Austrian Post, and Dr. Maria MOYA-GOETSCH, Consul-General, Austrian Consulate General, marked the issue of the special stamps by lightening up the fireworks decoration on the backdrop. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. TAM presented to the officiating guests framed stamps and first day covers.
