4.2.2007 (Sun)

Year of the Pig
This is the eighth set of stamps in the third Lunar New Year animal series. Distinctive pig designs are featured in this set of stamps which denotes good fortune in Chinese culture.
1.3.2007 (Thu) 2007 Centenary of World Scouting
This set of stamps celebrating the 100th anniversary of world scouting, is silver foiled. It features a likeness of Lord Baden Powell, the founder, and images of the Hong Kong Scout Badge, Hong Kong Scouts’ world record for knotting and a tent symbolising one of scouting’s most popular activities.
22.3.2007 (Thu) Children Stamps – Bunny Fun and Games
This is the fifth issue of Children Stamps since 2001 and is the first set of stamps featuring games for children that include an IQ and competition element. These interesting stamps with bright colours foster communication between parents and children through playing enjoyable games on stamps.
22.5.2007 (Tue) Chinese Martial Arts
The four stamps are gold foiled and embossed, creating a striking effect to bring out the motifs on the stamps. Each stamp shows a different kind of popular martial art in action with Chinese calligraphy identifying the particular activity.
14.6.2007 (Thu) Hong Kong Butterflies II
This is the second issue on Hong Kong Butterflies since 1979. Micro-printing is applied to this set of stamps, making it more appealing and educational in seeking out the name of each butterfly in micro-text. Each denomination shows a splendid butterfly alighting on a leaf or plant, with a larva representing the numeric value of the stamp.
1.7.2007 (Sun) The 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
This special stamp set is issued to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR. A hologram sheetlet features the show "A Symphony of Lights"with interactive lighting effects of buildings and dazzling fireworks to showcase the vibrancy and glamorous night vista of Victoria Harbour.
23.8.2007 (Thu) Civic Education
This is the first set of hexagon stamps issued by Hongkong Post. The designs are based on the winning entries from the Civic Education Stamp Design Competition held by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Home Affairs Bureau.
To be announced Declared Monuments in Hong Kong
Intaglio printing applied on these stamps depicting selected Hong Kong’s official monuments makes the fine texture of the building exteriors more distinctive and appealing. The "lighthouse" stamp – the first ever from Hongkong Post – will be a collectible not to be missed by philatelists worldwide.

The mixture of local specialties of Hong Kong's unique culture and Christmas thematic characters creates a delightful blend of East and West in this set of stamps, bringing out the joyful atmosphere of this festive time.
2.11.2007 (Fri) Hong Kong, China-Finland Joint Issue on Fine Woodwork
This is the eighth set of stamps Hongkong Post has jointly issued with an overseas postal administration since 1999. This set of two stamps depicts fine woodwork reflecting oriental traditions along with Finland’s famous designs.

4.2.2007 (Sun) Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals – Dog/Pig
This prestigious stamp sheetlet features the Dog and Pig stamps of the Lunar New Year series. It is embossed and hot-foiled with genuine 22-karat gold, 24-karat gold and 99.9% pure silver, to celebrate the outgoing Year of the Dog and welcome the Year of the Pig.
4.2.2007 (Sun) Flock Stamps on Lunar New Year Animals – Monkey/Rooster/Dog/Pig
This special set of four stamps, featuring the Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig, is printed on flock paper and is the second issue of flock stamps.
3.5.2007 (Thu) Mainland Scenery Series No. 6: Shilin, Kunming
This stamp sheetlet is the sixth issue in the Mainland Scenery Series, with its detailed representation of dramatic rocks, natural greenery and striking blue skies. It uses a distinctive dark grey tone shot through with tonal colours, and is embossed to indicate the texture of the rock formations.
3.8.2007 (Fri) Stamp Sheetlet to Commemorate Hongkong Post’s Participation in BANGKOK 2007
This stamp sheetlet commemorates Hongkong Post’s participation for the second time in a stamp exhibition in Bangkok. It applies the style of an avant-garde oil painting featuring the distinctiveness of Hong Kong and Thailand, reflecting their dynamism and energy.
