Holiday Arrangement for Chung Yeung Festival

The Assistant Postmaster General (Postal), Mr Michael Chung Man-kit, announced today (October 23, 2006) that there would be no mail delivery during the coming Chung Yeung Festival on October 30. All post offices will be closed. However, one mail collection would be arranged for all posting boxes except those located on outlying islands and in remote areas.

Mr Chung added that on Sunday, October 29, 2006, the General Post Office, the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office and the Airport Post Office would open for business under the usual Sunday service arrangements from 9am to 2pm.
