"Year of the Pig" Special Stamps issuing ceremony

Hongkong Post today (February 4) issued the "Year of the Pig" Special Stamps. At a ceremony at New Town Plaza Phase 3 this morning, Postmaster General Mr Tam Wing-pong launched the issue of these special Lunar New Year stamps. In addition, Mcmug has been appointed as the Philatelic Ambassador of Hongkong Post for 2007. As a memento of the occasion, Mr Tam presented framed stamps and first day covers to Mcmug and designer of these special stamps Mr Bon Kwan.

As a prelude to the celebration of the Lunar New Year, the "Lucky Bags" distributed by young dancers to the audience added festive fun.

Hongkong Post appointed Mcmug as Postal Ambassador 2007.

Postmaster General Tam Wing-pong and Mcmug officiated the issue of "Year of the Pig" special stamps.
