"Hong Kong, China-Finland Joint Issue on Fine Woodwork" stamps ceremony

Hongkong Post today (November 2) issued the "Hong Kong, China-Finland Joint Issue on Fine Woodwork" Special Stamps. At a ceremony at the General Post Office this morning, Acting Postmaster General Mr Chan Yau-fung, Director of Philatelic Centre, Finland Post Mr Markku Penttinen, and Consul-General, Consulate General of Finland, Mr Timo Rajakangas, officiated at the issue of the special stamps. As a memento of the occasion, Mr Chan presented framed stamps and first day covers to Mr Penttinen, Mr Rajakangas and designer of these special stamps Mr Ken Li.

With VIP guests at the issuing ceremony today (November 2) are stamp designer Mr Ken Li (left), Director of Philatelic Centre, Finland Post, Mr Markku Penttinen (fourth left), Acting Postmaster General Mr Chan Yau-fung (fourth right), and Consul-General, Consulate General of Finland Mr Timo Rajakangas (third right).
