Awards presented at 9th Inter-School Stamp Exhibits
Competition
Hongkong Post today held the 9th Inter-School Stamp Exhibits Competition's awards presentation and exhibition opening ceremony at Central Atrium, G/F, Olympian City 2. The ceremony was officiated by Secretary for Education, Mr Michael Suen, and Postmaster General, Mr Tam Wing-pong.
The competition aimed to interest Hong Kong youngsters in philately. With support from parents, teachers and principals, 110 frames of stamp exhibits were received from the 202 students participating in this year's event. Awards were presented to the winners at the ceremony. The list of winners is attached at Appendix. All the students' exhibits as well as demonstration exhibits from local philatelic associations will be displayed at the venue from April 18 to 21, 2008.
