HK Post Holiday Arrangements for the Lunar New Year 2009
Hongkong Post announced today (January 19) arrangements during the Lunar New Year (LNY) holidays on January 25 to 28. The Airport Post Office will open throughout the holidays from the day preceding LNY's Day to the 3rd day of the LNY, while the General Post Office will open on January 25, 27 and 28, and the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office on January 25, to provide the full range of counter services. Business hours of the three post offices during the holidays are shown in the Annex. All other post offices will be closed.
One mail collection daily will be arranged on January 25 and 28 from all street posting boxes except those located on outlying islands and in remote areas. No mail collection from posting boxes will be provided on January 26 and 27 and there will be no mail delivery during the holidays.
