Holiday arrangements for Labour Day and The Buddha's Birthday

Hongkong Post today (April 24) announced holiday arrangements for Labour Day on May 1 (Friday) and The Buddha's Birthday on May 2 (Saturday).  There will be no mail delivery and all post offices will be closed except the General Post Office and the Airport Post Office.  The business hours of the two offices will be from 9am to 5pm and 8am to 5pm respectively.

On May 3 (Sunday), under the usual Sunday service arrangements, the General Post Office, Airport Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office will also open for business from 9am to 5pm, 8am to 5pm and 9am to 2pm respectively.  One mail collection will be arranged for all street posting boxes on May 1 and May 3 except those located on outlying islands and in remote areas.
