Hongkong Post announces Special Stamp Issuing Programme for 2010
The Acting Postmaster General, Mr Chan Yau-fung, today (September 3) announced the Special Stamp Issuing Programme for 2010. Starting with the Year of the Tiger Lunar New Year special stamps, 10 stamp issues covering a wide range of topics will be issued throughout the year. Details are shown on the fact sheet at Appendix 1.
The final choices for 2010 special stamps were selected from among 98 different stamp themes and 73 initial stamp designs, while the vetting of the stamp designs was carried out by the Stamp Advisory Committee in a series of meetings through 2008-09.
