The set of four stamps is designed by Mr. Ken Li and printed in lithography by Joh. Enschede B. V. of the Netherlands, showcasing the splendour of Stonecutters Bridge from different angles – an upward view of lofty girders and the tower ($1.40); a long shot illustrating architectural ingenuity of the magnificent structure ($2.40); a perspective from sea level of activities at the container port underneath ($3); and a bird’s eye view of the tower demonstrating the beauty of stay cables unfolding fanlike along its length ($5). There is also a souvenir pack containing one souvenir sheet and a stainless steel ruler depicting a sketch of the bridge similar to the stamps.

Date-stamping Arrangements
A hand-back date-stamping service by the office steel date-stamp and the special postmark will be provided on 17 December 2009 at all post offices for official/ privately-made covers bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address. All philatelic offices will also provide hand-back date-stamping service by the “Philatelic Bureau” pictorial postmark and philatelic office pictorial postmark concurrently. However, the GPO-1 date-stamp will only be available at the General Post Office.
Public hall of the Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau will open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 17 December 2009 to provide date-stamping service by the “Philatelic Bureau” pictorial postmark and the special postmark.
