Make the Best Choice For Your Needs

Local Courierpost Standard Service serves both account customers and casual customers. Choose the service that best suits your needs.

Account customers
If your company requires a courier service on a regular basis, simply register as an account customer+ to enjoy preferential rates and both on demand and scheduled pick-up service (“On Demand and Scheduled Collection”). You may also post your items over the counter at any post office.

+ The registered pick-up address must be located within our service areas.

Casual customers
If you don’t need a courier service on a regular basis, simply post your items over the counter at any post office. Charges are calculated on a per item per journey basis.

Easy and convenient way of posting

As an account customer, simply call the Pick-up Centre whenever you need courier service, and we will collect and deliver your item to any location within our service areas. If you have regular courier service needs, you can choose regular scheduled pick-up service by prior arrangement with us. Both account and casual customers may post items over the counter at any post office.

Highly reliable with money-back guarantee

For items posted on or before the cut-off times of a working day, we guarantee on-time delivery* to our service areas. Otherwise, you will receive a refund on the delivery charge.

* Except on public holidays, when the Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, or when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted.

Service available on Sundays and public holidays+

Pick-up service is available to account customers on Sundays and public holidays with prior arrangement. Selected post offices are open on Sundays.

Uniform charge rates with extensive service areas

Account customers of Standard Service can enjoy the lowest rate at $14 per standard item if the monthly usage volume reaches 400 items. The greater the monthly usage, the higher the savings for each item. Casual customers can also enjoy the lowest rate at $25 for item whose weight does not exceed 500g. Uniform rates are charged even to distant areas such as the airport.

Proof of delivery

Proof of delivery records for items successfully delivered will be kept by Hongkong Post and provided upon request within 5 months from date of posting.

No Specific Requirement on Size

Have your item packed properly and its size complying with the size of letter and parcels in accordance with the postal regulations.

Highly Flexible Charges, Excellent Value for Money

Account customers
No pre-payment of service fee is needed. A monthly invoice will be sent to you for settlement. Charges are calculated according to Charge Table for Account Customers. The standard weight limit per item is 1 kg. Items over 1 kg will be charged an additional of $14 per kg per item. Maximum weight per item is 5 kg^.

^ For the items delivered to and picked up from Tuen Mun industrial area, Yuen Long Industrial Estate, Tung Tau industrial area and Fanling (On Lok Tsuen), the maximum weight per item is 2 kg.

Casual customers
The delivery charge is calculated on per journey per item basis. Items posted over the counter have a maximum weight limit of 2 kg per item.

Arrangement for Unsuccessful Delivery

If you want us to call you to obtain your instruction on how the undeliverable item is to be handled, please indicate to our staff at time of posting. Without your special request, a notification card for the addressee informing him to approach us will be given.
