Posting Conditions

Registration Registration with Financial Services Division of Hongkong Post prior to posting is required. A completed application form shall be submitted with a copy of the valid Business Registration Certificate (for company applicants), or copies of Hong Kong Identity Card and address proof (for individual applicants)
Posting location One selected bulk acceptance counter office
Quantity/ weight per posting
  • Not less than 50 items per posting OR 20 items per destination
  • Average weight per posting not less than 100g per item
  • No single item shall exceed 2 kg
Posting method

A permit number specially assigned for this service shall appear on the top right-hand corner of the envelope.  The new designs of the impression (40 mm wide by 20 mm high) are as follows:

Mail make up
  • All-in-one shipping labels incorporating addresses of sender and recipient, item barcode, permit number impression, customs declaration form (CN22/CN23) and air mail impression shall be printed through the iMailR Online Mailing Tool and affixed onto the front of each item
  • No item shall bear a return address located outside Hong Kong
Segregation
  • Items should be contained in separate mail bag according to classes of service (First Class/Economy Class) and destination
  • If the quantities for certain destinations are not adequate to make up a separate bag, they should be bundled separately and contained in the residual bag(s)
  • “Posting Statement” (Pos 487R) and “Certificate of posting for iMailR service” forms (Pos 20 (iMail)) should be completed and printed  using the iMailR Online Mailing Tool
